Finngården Rikkenberget, Bjurberget

The smoke house on the slopes of Rikkenberget was one of the first Finnish homesteads in Södra Finnskogen and is well-known today for its rich flora.
The smoke house was built in 1852. A "Swedish room" (svenskstuga) was added with a fireplace and an iron stove.
Rikkenberget is well-known for its rich flora. Many rare species of the region can be found here.

During the summer 2020, waffles are served every Saturday and Sunday.

Accommodation is available on request in the "Algot" cottage (five persons).

Description
Rikkenberget är känd för sin rika och unika flora av växter, så som fjälltolta, vårört, trolldruva, underviol, skogsvicker, draghäxört, häckvicker, smörboll, slåtterfibbla och vildväxande skogslind. Här finns rökstuga byggd 1852 och Dunderbackskojan från 1920- talet.
Directions
Turn left, direction Bograngen, from the road Torsby-Bograngen. Turn direction Falltorp. Drive ca 1km and You see the sign for "Rökstuga"(smoke-house).
