Sven-Göran Eriksson "Svennis", his international breakthrough came during 1982 when he led IFK Göteborg to the UEFA cup, the first time ever for a swedish club. The success sparked intrest in his skills from other clubs. After IFK Göteborg he manage a number of big European clubs, like SL Benfica, AS Roma and SS Lazio. 

In January 2001, he became the first foreign maneger to lead the England national team. Throughout his five year reigin, England won 40 games and lost 10 of the 67 matches played.  

During his career, Eriksson has been active in nine countries, Sweden, Portugal, Italy, England, Mexico, Ivory Coast, Thaland, United Abab Emirates and China.
